The Eurasian Legend<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0trophy is awarded to each person elected for membership in Eurasian Academy. <\/big><\/em><\/p>\n

The Eurasian Legend is the symbolic name of an award in the form of a trophy that was custom-made to be given to the members of Eurasian Academy, starting with its five founders. It was prepared in Shanghai based on the plans of well-known artist and carpet-maker Afag Karimova, who designed the trophy according to the recommendations of founder Hamlet Isaxanli. <\/big><\/em><\/p>\n

The trophy includes symbols of knowledge, culture, science, and wisdom as well as modern attributes. It consists of two sections: a clear crystal decorative vase and a gold-colored metal topper reflecting numerous symbols.<\/big><\/em><\/p>\n

It is shaped symmetrically with a height of 38 cm, a width (diameter) of 8 cm in the vase and 12 cm at the top. The topper is shaped like an artist\u2019s palette, on top of which semi-precious stones of different colors have been affixed in order to represent squeezed-out oil paints as a symbol of fine arts. <\/big><\/em><\/p>\n

On top, it includes symbols of science and education such as an opened, winged book and a harp-like stringed musical instrument. Each element is made of stylized national symbols. The inside of the vase is a functional hourglass. There are \u201cbuta\u201d (teardrop\/paisley) figures on the upper and lower parts of the crystal vase to represent the temporal nature and repetition of eternity.<\/big><\/em><\/p>\n
